Downton Abbey as The Hour
London’s top reporter Mary Lyon comes back to London after nine months abroad. She returns to The Hour at the request of the new Head of News, Charles Carson. Mary’s arrival isn’t taken well by producer and longtime friend, Matthew Rowley, who finds her sudden return a cold slap to his face from when she practically ran away from him and everything they had worked for during their careers just nine months ago.
As Mary delves deeper into the world of dangerous and questionable politics with threats of nuclear warfare. She finds that she isn’t as untouchable as she used to believe and having to come to terms that she can’t tell every story that the government has been covering up is hard for her to grasp.

Something that really bugs me. (trigger warning)
When people self-harm and say “this is for you” or “this is because of you” or “know you’re the reason for these cuts”.
Like, no.
It is nobody’s fault but your own. That’s coming from a self harmer. Sure, it may be their fault that they hurt you, or did something rude. It may even be reasonable for you to have that response. However, YOU are the one physically cutting yourself and YOU are the one who could have stopped it.
Stop blaming others for something that is not their fault at all.
