tumblr protip #98274: it’s never too late to get into game of thrones. the third season is only about to begin, they’re splitting book 3 (of 7) into two seasons. chances are, the show will be around for another five years. minimum. we’re barely at the climax of the entire series. up to now, no one knows what the fuck the white walkers really are. no one knows where dany’s going to end up. no one knows who’ll sit the iron throne. a gajillion characters have died, and a gajillion more have been introduced. five years from now, most people’s faves will have faded into obscurity and most obscure characters will have been thrust to the front lines. so many things have happened, yet many many more have not. and twice that number are still, as of yet, unforeseen. no one knows. what’s going to happen. you’re not late to the party. the party’s only just begun.
